Raffi Ahmad Appointed As Deputy Chairman Of The Parekraf Division For The 2024-2029 Period

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) officially appointed actor and entrepreneur Raffi Ahmad as one of the administrators of the organization for the period 2024-2029.

Raffi, who is known as an actor and entrepreneur, will fill the strategic position as Deputy General Chair for Tourism and Creative Economy.

The determination was announced in Jakarta, Monday, October 7 by the Deputy Chairperson of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Agriculture, Mulyadi Jayabaya.

The announcement of the 2024-2029 Kadin management was made at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tower and witnessed directly by the Chairman of Kadin Anindya Bakrie and a number of other Kadin members.

Raffi Ahmad was met on the sidelines of the announcement saying that he was appointed as Deputy General Chair for Tourism and Creative Economy.

"Thank you to Mr. Anindya Bakrie as the General Chair who has entrusted us, here I am Rafi Ahmad and Mr. Boby, we are entrusted that I am the Deputy Chairperson of the Tourism and Creative Economy Division," said Raffi quoting Antara.

Raffi admitted that entrepreneurs are ready to synergize with the government in improving the nation's economy.

"So they are both synergizing, for all entrepreneurs, Kadin will always synergize with the government," said Raffi.

He is optimistic that the synergy between entrepreneurs and the government will be even better after the inauguration of the elected president and vice president Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka is officially inaugurated on October 20, 2024.

"God willing, after Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran are inaugurated, our synergy will also be better," said Raffi.

Furthermore, Raffi admitted that he would arrange a work program in Kadin after the new government.

Raffi also hopes that Anindya Bakrie's leadership as Chairman of Kadin can continue to bridge the government's interests with entrepreneurs to achieve the best goals for the Indonesian people.

The synergy between Kadin and the government is expected to be stronger, especially to support business people in facing economic challenges and creating better opportunities.

"Hopefully Mas Anin can also continue to bridge what he wants, the best, of course the government's goal for all or all Indonesian people, of course also for Indonesian business people, everything can work together well," said Raffi.

As a first step, Raffi Ahmad stated that there would be an internal meeting to discuss the next strategy in developing the tourism sector and the creative economy in Indonesia.

"This is just starting, so surely we will have an internal meeting," said Raffi.
