Hutama Karya's Assets Reach IDR 169.74 Trillion Throughout 2023, Up 81.51 Percent

JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) recorded assets reaching IDR 169.74 trillion by the end of 2023.

This figure increased from assets in 2019 which was recorded at Rp93.51 trillion and at the end of 2023 to Rp169.73 trillion or an increase of Rp76.22 trillion or the equivalent of 81.51 percent.

Executive Vice President (EVP) Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya Adjib Al Hakim said this consistent asset increase succeeded in bringing Hutama Karya to 10th position with the largest assets in all SOEs.

"Asset Hutama Karya grew progressive over the past five years, namely Rp93.51 trillion in 2019, Rp114.11 trillion in 2020, Rp132.92 trillion in 2021, Rp156.32 trillion in 2022 and reached Rp169.74 trillion in 2023," said Adjib quoted from the official website of Hutama Karya, Monday, September 30.

Adjib said this asset increase was in line with other financial performance improvements in 2023 (yoy), such as net profit which jumped significantly by 521 percent reaching Rp1.87 trillion.

Total equity also recorded an increase of 35.96 percent to Rp116.63 trillion. The company's revenue also increased by 11.81 percent to Rp26.93 trillion. Meanwhile, new contracts experienced impressive growth of 55.51 percent or reached Rp30.88 trillion.

He added, until the first semester of 2024, Hutama Karya's assets continued to grow to Rp188.78 trillion (unaudited) or an increase of Rp42.19 trillion with a growth percentage of around 28.78 percent from the same period in 2023 (yoy).

"This asset growth is influenced by various strategic factors, including the involvement of projects from the government, such as in the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN) project, the acceptance of State Equity Participation (PMN) for the assignment of the construction of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS), the addition of JTTS concession rights, and asset recycling transactions for Bakauheni Toll Roads. Terbanggi Besar and Medan Binjai," he said.

To date, Hutama Karya has built JTTS along the length of 1,235 kilometers (km), including construction support toll roads.

The construction toll road is 390 km long, while the total length of the toll road operates reaches 845 km.

As for a number of JTTSs that have been inaugurated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to date, namely the Indrapura Toll Road Section I I Indrapura 'Fifty Puluh (15.6 km), the Kuala Tanjung Toll Road'Tebing Tinggi Parapat Section 1 Tebing Tinggi Indrapura (28 km), Bangkinang Toll Road Pangkalan Section Bangkinang XIII Koto Kampar (24.7 km) and the SigliBanda Aceh Toll Road Section 2 Seulimeum-Jantho (6 km).

Then, Section 3 Jantho' Indrapuri (16 km), Section 5 (Blang Bintang 'Kuto Baro (8 km), Section 6 Kuto Baro'Baitussalam (5 km) and the Binjai 'Langsa Section 2 Stabat' Tanjung Pura (26.2 km) and the Kuala Tanjung Toll Road Tebing Tinggi Section 3 4 Tebing Tinggi Serbelawan Senaksak (45.6 km).

With the operation of the JTTS segment, Hutama Karya recorded significant traffic growth.

This year, an average of 239,905 vehicles per day pass through the Hutama Karya toll road, and in the first semester of 2024 there was an increase in traffic by 14.8 percent compared to the same period in 2023.

This data includes all Hutama Karya toll roads, both located on the Trans Sumatra Toll Road and at JORR-S and Tanjung Priok Access.
