JAKARTA - The Aceh Bank Indonesia (BI) Representative Office has prepared Rp3.5 trillion in cash to meet cash needs as well as provide small denomination exchange services during the XXI Aceh-North Aceh National Sports Week (PON).

Head of the Bank Indonesia Aceh Representative Office Rony Widijarto in Banda Aceh, Friday, said the service was a form of Bank Indonesia's commitment and concern in supporting PON XXI through the provision of rupiah money that was suitable for distribution in the community.

"The provision of rupiah money during PON XXI is very adequate, amounting to Rp3.5 trillion," said Head of Bank Indonesia Aceh Rony Widijarto quoting Antara.

The provision of IDR 3.5 trillion for the XXI PON, with details at Bank Indonesia, Aceh Province, amounting to IDR 2 trillion and IDR 1.5 trillion at the Bank Indonesia Lhokseumawe Office. Meanwhile, the estimated money out in Aceh until the end of 2024 reached IDR 4.6 trillion.
