Sri Mulyani: Posture Of The 2025 State Budget Does Not Experience Many Foreign Exchanges After The Entry Of Free Nutrition Eating Programs

JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani ensured that several new initiative programs for the President and Vice President-Elect of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka such as free nutritious food were included in the 2025 State Budget posture.

He said he had reported to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and the President-elect for the posture of the 2025 State Budget regarding the initial discussion of the Indonesian House of Representatives. In this case, through the Macroeconomic Framework and the Principles of Fiscal Policy (KEM & PPKF).

"The post is not expected to experience much deviation from what has been discussed with the DPR," said Sri Mulyani quoting Antara.

In accordance with the directives, Sri Mulyani said that President Jokowi wanted the 2025 State Budget posture to accommodate priority programs from the elected President, one of which was free nutritious food.

"However, because this is to accommodate in accordance with the current direction of the President, namely President Jokowi that the 2025 State Budget accommodates priority programs that have been submitted by the elected presidential government. So, we are starting to calculate for programs that are often referred to as free nutritious food. Then also several new initiative programs that are currently being finalized with a team from the elected president. This has been included in the posture of the 2025 State Budget." he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the budget for free nutritious food, he said there had been no change, which was still IDR 71 trillion.

"Until now, what we have received direction from the current President and the elected President is the total budget of IDR 71 trillion. Regarding the details later, the elected President will continue to make preparations with his team for its implementation," he said.

The free nutritious food program for children was initiated by the President and Elected Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

The government of Joko Widodo has budgeted IDR 71 trillion in the 2025 RAPBN to run the program.

The budget for one portion of free nutritious food is estimated at IDR 15,000.

On the way, the issue of a free nutritious food budget was cut to Rp7,500. However, this issue was directly denied by the elected Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who emphasized that the budget for one portion of free nutritious food would remain at Rp. 15,000.
