Presenting The MSME Center, SEZ Sanur Is Expected To Be A Motorbike For Local Economic Mobilization

JAKARTA - PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (Persero) or InJourney Hospitality continues to develop the Sanur Health Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

SEZ Sanur will later become "World Class Medical & Wellness Center" or Health and Tourism Service Center with international standard integrated facilities.

InJourney Hospitality President Director Christine Hutabarat hopes that the Sanur MSME Center will become a driving force for the local economy and improve the welfare of the local community.

"The development of the Sanur MSME Center is proof of the Government's ongoing commitment to involve local stakeholders in collaborating with local business actors, supporting the growth and development of the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector," he quoted the BUMN website, Saturday, July 20.

This area is one of the landmarks in Bali which is expected to be an accelerator for improving the Indonesian economy, especially Bali, one of which is through the development of the Sanur MSME Center facility.

This is one of the facilities for the MSME tenant association that is integrated with the Sanur SEZ, where the MSME Center was developed by relocating local business actors who previously sold on the Sanur Beach.

The concept of developing the MSME Center is Natah Antakara, etimologically it comes from the Sanskrit language where Natah means a page, while Antakara means the Sun.

The uniqueness of this MSME Center is that it is built on the coast of Sanur, where the sun rises in the Land of Bali.

The concept of designing MSME centers takes the greatest inspiration from Sanur Beach, and cites Balinese architectural forms with the concept of providing open but modular land for the placement of UMKM businesses.

Through the Sanur MSME Center, local business actors can develop their business and increase product accessibility to tourists and the surrounding community so as to encourage the growth and development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Sanur area.

The Sanur MSME center will provide opportunities for local entrepreneurs to increase the competitiveness of Sanur's MSMEs and help face market challenges that are getting better and more competitive.

PT Hotel Indonesia Natour, as the Development and Management Business Entity (BUPP) of the Sanur SEZ, is developing the Sanur MSME Center in an area of 973m2.

This project includes 49 MSME kiosks and 1 fishing hall equipped with basement and panoramic deck facilities with a touch of local Balinese wisdom.

In its management, InJourney Hospitality will collaborate with the Denpasar City Government through the BUPDA to manage this MSME Center so that it becomes a home for MSME actors.
