JAKARTA - PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk is interested in investing in the fisheries, plantation and agriculture sectors in North Kalimantan.

"We meet and have a light discussion with Japfa Group officials. They are interested in the natural wealth owned by Kaltara. Such as in the fields of fisheries, aquaculture, agriculture, plantations and others," said the Governor of Kaltara, Zainal Arifin Paliwang, quoted from Antara, Friday, March 19. .

Japfa Comfeed is eyeing the fisheries, plantations and agriculture sectors in Bumi Benuanta. Including the development of resources for farmers and fishermen.

This interest was conveyed by Japfa Group officials to Zain when he met in Jakarta, Thursday, March 18. The Japfa Group officials met were Ito Sumardi as Commissioner of the Japfa Group, Ardi Budiono as Senior Vice President Head of Aquaculture Division and Riko S. Handoko as Chief Executive Officer of Sampoerna Kayoe.

The governor said the natural wealth owned by Kaltara needed to be managed properly. "That is the reason why they are eyeing Kaltara," said Zainal.
