JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) through its subsidiary, PT Jasamarga Surabaya Mojokerto (JSM) announced an increase in tariffs for the Surabaya-Mojokerto Toll Road section on Tuesday, July 9 starting at 00.00 WIB.

The tariff increase is based on the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Number 1306/KPTS/M/2024 dated June 19, 2024 regarding Adjustment of Toll Tariffs on the Surabaya-Mojokerto Toll Road.

"Starting July 9 at 00.00 WIB, a tariff settlement will be applied for the Surabaya-Mojokerto Toll Road," Jasa Marga wrote in an Instagram upload @jsmtolsumo, quoted on Saturday, July 6.

Based on Jasa Marga data, toll tariff adjustments will later apply to both open and closed systems. In an open transaction system, motorists only pay toll roads when entering the first time through toll booths.

The payment also includes opening bars at toll gates. When you want to leave, just leave and no need to pay or attach an electronic money card.

As for the closed transaction system, motorists will make payments when they are at the toll gate where they want to leave. So, when you first enter, you have not made a payment, tap at the initial substation which is done only to open a bar or portal.

In more detail, here is the latest list of tariffs for the Surabaya-Mojokerto Toll Road if official tariff adjustments are applied.
