Pertamina Ensures Fuel Needs In Kaltara Are Fulfilled Ahead Of Eid Al-Adha

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Kalimantan ensured that the need for fuel oil (BBM) and LPG in the North Kalimantan (Kaltara) region ahead of Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijriah was met.

"This is a form of commitment in meeting the needs of fuel and LPG in all provinces in Kalimantan," said Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Kalimantan Arya Yusa Dwicandra as reported by ANTARA, Friday, June 14.

Arya estimates that this year there will be an increase in the need of 1.9 percent for Gasoline Fuel (Pertamax Series and Pertalite), 3.1 percent for Gasoil (Dex Series and Solar) fuel and 3.8 percent for LPG.

"This increase is our prognosis based on the increase in the previous year," he said.

In terms of stock, Pertamina has up to 11 days of stock for fuel and 3 5 days of resilience for LPG, this number of stocks will continue to be added from the current supply chain.

Especially for the Kaltara Pertamina region, the number of daily needs for fuel during Eid al-Adha is 386 KL (kiloliters) for Gasoline type fuel, 129 KL for Gasoil and LPG fuels as much as 52 MT (Metric Ton).

"This number is up 3.6 percent for Gasoline type fuel, 0.3 percent for Gasoil fuel and 3.4 percent for LPG from normal daily distribution. Meanwhile, the stock for North Kalimantan is confirmed to be safe when and after Eid al-Adha 1445H," added Arya.

Meanwhile, Pertamina also continues to urge the public not to panic buying and not to use fuel and subsidized LPG which is prioritized for underprivileged people.

Some of the problems that often occur in the field are the use of fuel and LPG that are not on target.

"Currently Pertamina continues to carry out the 'exact subsidy' program so that the distribution of subsidized fuel and LPG reaches those who are entitled," said Arya.

He appealed to fuel to currently apply the use of a QR code and LPG using an ID card (NIK) for its purchase. It is hoped that people with an economy will not be able to buy subsidized fuel and LPG.
