Passengers Who Break Through 21,500 People At The Peak Of The 2024 Eid Holiday

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) noted that the number of passengers usingASH reached around 21,500 people at the peak of the Eid holiday on April 15, 2024.

KCIC Corporate Secretary, Eva Chairunisa, explained that more than 65 percent or about 14,000 passengers who traveled on April 15 were passengers with the Padalarang or Tegalluar relation to Halim.

Eva also said that the high number of passengers coincided with the end of the Eid holiday period set by the government.

"Despite a significant increase compared to normal days, all services at stations and trains at that moment went safely, safely, smoothly and under control," Eva said in a statement received by VOI, in Jakarta, Tuesday, April 16.

At the peak of the return flow, the average occupancy ofuring a trip to Halim Station touched 89 percent. The entire schedule from 14.00 to 20.30 WIB sold out 100 percent of all seats.

Then, continued Eva, as many as 9,500 passengers usedASH from Padalarang Station, while the remaining 4,500 chose to useASH from Tegalluar Station.

"The high number ofPORT passengers from Padalarang Station is due to their connectivity with Bandung Station via the Feeder Train trip," he explained.

Even though the peak of backflow on Lebaran transportation has passed, Eva said, KCIC still operates 12 additional trips until April 18, 2024.

Through ticket booking data until this weekend, the volume of passengers still looks quite high when compared to normal days.

Additional travel is still in effect to anticipate passengers who delay traveling backflow in accordance with government policies. With the large number of trips, passengers can be more flexible in making travel plans," concluded Eva.
