Ahead Of The 2024 Eid Homecoming, Jasa Marga Calls 49 SPKLU Ready To Operate

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk through its subsidiary, namely PT Jasamarga Related Business (JMRB) said, there are 49 Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) in Rest and Services (TIP) or rest areas that are ready to operate in order to support Eid homecoming.

President Director of PT JMRB Denny Abdurachman said that Jasa Marga has almost tripled the number of SPKLUs in all Jasa Marga Group Rest Areas.

"The number of SPKLUs in Jasa Marga rest areas currently reaches 49 points, previously only 17 points. 11 of them have been upgraded from normal charging to fast charging. So, for certain types of electric vehicles, they can be filled optimally with a charging time of 30 minutes," said Denny in his written statement, Tuesday, April 2.

When charging the battery, road users can enjoy a number of facilities and services in the rest area.

Jasa Marga and Pertamina also collaborate to ensure the adequacy of fuel oil (BBM) for road users at gas stations at rest areas, one of which is by providing Modular gas stations in 14 rest areas, some of which have been adjusted to changes to the diesel gas station dispenser system to Pertamax.

In addition, Jasa Marga also together with other stakeholders held 29 health posts in a number of rest areas that would help visitors to check their health during the trip, to add 599 functional toilets.

Clean water adequacy is also ensured by increasing the supply of clean water in toilets and places of worship, adding traffic control officers up to 141 personnel to accelerate the handling of traffic and current engineering as well as security officers on standby for 24 hours which allows visitors to rest comfortably in the rest area.

Later, Jasa Marga will also divert the function of men's toilets to women's toilets because long queues tend to occur in women's and men's toilets and will use functional toilets later.

With all operational readiness and service improvement carried out by Jasa Marga Group in the rest area, it is hoped that the security of the Eid Al-Fitr 1445 Hijri Year 2024 holiday can run smoothly, safely, comfortably and all toll road users can also work together in complying with applicable regulations.
