Tangerang-Merak Toll Road 10 Percent Tariff Discount, Check Date

JAKARTA - In order to provide a meaningful Lebaran homecoming experience, PT Marga Mandalasakti (ASTRA Infra Toll Road Tangerang-Merak) appealed to the public to go home early as an effort to anticipate the density of homecoming and backflow.

As the main access link to Sumatra Island, Astra Tol Tamer appreciates a tariff discount of 10 percent to road users who travel home early to Merak and Sumatra Island via the Tangerang Merak Toll Road.

"Of course this aims to reduce congestion during homecoming later. I don't want it, right, traffic jams to my hometown? Let's go home early!" read the statement in the upload of the official Instagram account @astratellamer, quoted Monday, April 1.

The Tangerang-Merak toll tariff discount is valid for 4 days, namely on April 1, 2024 starting at 00.00 WIB to April 2, 2024 at 24.00 WIB, and on April 17, 2024 starting at 00.00 WIB to April 18, 2024 at 24.00 WIB.

The tariff discount applies to class 1 vehicles (passenger vehicles), with the furthest distance from the Cikupa Toll Gate to the Merak Toll Gate and vice versa, which was from IDR 53,500 to IDR 48,150.

"Discounts apply beyond the Jakarta-Tangerang and Serang-Panimbang integration rates," he said.

Road users are advised to ensure travel readiness by checking the condition of the vehicle, taking care of their physical condition by taking advantage of a 30-minute stop time in the rest area if they are tired of driving and the adequacy of electronic money balances (EU) for smooth transactions at toll gates.
