PT Jasa Marga Transjawa Tol (JTT) made improvements in the form of adding lanes on the Palikanci Toll Road, Cirebon, West Java, to break down the queue of vehicles at Rest Area KM 208 during the homecoming and return flow of Lebaran 2024. This year we add its capacity from two to three lanes. The length is about 2 km. Imam explained, the addition of the lane can reduce the duration of the vehicle's time to rest area so that there is no buildup or density that can interfere with the smooth traffic on the toll road. According to him, the process of lane construction at that location is targeted to be completed on D-15 Lebaran 2024 so that later motorists who want to rest in the rest area do not need to stay in line for so long. He also said that PT JTT also has other solutions to reduce density in the rest area, namely by preparing alternative parking locations for motorists on the Palikanci Toll Road. We provide parking facilities for motorists. For example, do not share the rest area,'' he said.

Furthermore, he said the transaction system at the western and eastern Ciperna Toll Gate would be activated from two directions in anticipation of a surge in vehicles during the Lebaran period. He conveyed that two entrances to the Palikanci Toll Road could serve payments for motorists who came from Jakarta to Java or vice versa. "The goal is to balance the volume of traffic for homecoming and return, especially during one way. Usually at the Ciperna Barat Toll Gate it cannot be used from Java to Jakarta. Later the transaction system can be used," he said. He added to improve excellent service for motorists, his party has increased the number of CCTV cameras installed along the toll road..
