Tukin ASN Rises, Spokesperson For The Ministry Of PUPR: We Are Demanded To Work Better

The performance allowance for ASN within the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) officially rose from March 2024.

The decision is contained in Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 35 of 2024 concerning Employee Performance Allowances within the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing which Jokowi officially signed on March 13, 2024.

Responding to this, Spokesperson for the Ministry of PUPR Endra S Atmawidjaja said, the increase in tukin indicates that his party must work better in building infrastructure throughout the country.

"The increase in tukin does not mean that the privilege is for the Ministry of PUPR, but this is also a more responsibility that we are required to perform better. Yesterday it was good, now it must be even better," said Endra when contacted by VOI, Friday, March 15.

Endra assessed that PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono had a greater responsibility to the community to improve the performance of all his subordinates in infrastructure development.

"So, the minister also has a responsibility to the community to be able to improve their performance again," he said.

According to Endra, the increase in tukin indicates that the performance of the Ministry of PUPR for almost the last 10 years has been felt by the community.

So, he continued, the government gave confidence to the Ministry of PUPR through the increase in tukin.

"We are grateful. However, the form of gratitude is that we work even harder to ensure that we can fulfill the increasing needs of the community. So, we are not only accepting but are required to provide even higher performance," he added.

As for the attachment to the Presidential Regulation, Tukin is given to employees with a 1-17 position class, which is the lowest value of IDR 2,575,000 to a maximum of IDR 41,550,000.

Especially for the Minister of PUPR, which is currently held by Basuki Hadimuljono, Tukin is given 150 percent of the highest tukin value in the agency.

Thus, Minister Basuki will get the highest tukin at the Ministry of PUPR reaching IDR 62,325,000 per month.

This amount is a calculation of the highest amount of tukin at the Ministry of PUPR of IDR 41,550,000 x 150 percent.
