JCI Opens Weaker 0.23 percent, 148 Shares are Sluggish

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) at the opening of trading Thursday 14 March 2024 weakened 17.06 points or 0.23 percent to 7,404.144 at 09.10 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) this morning.

Meanwhile, the JCI opened at 7,421.20, while the highest level for the JCI today was 7,428.48 and the lowest was 7,400.33.

The total share trading volume on the IDX reached 1.40 billion, with a transaction value reaching IDR 1.04 trillion. There were 205 shares rising, 148 shares falling, and 244 flat.

The LQ45 Index weakened 0.17 percent, Japan's Nikkei 225 Index moved down 0.42 percent, Meanwhile, Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.11 percent, China's Shanghai Composite weakened 0.19 percent, and Singapore's Straits Times strengthened 0.73 percent.

As for those who entered the Top Gainers ranks, namely PT Cisarua Mountain Diary Tbk (CMRY) rose 100 or 2.23 percent to IDR 4,580, PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) rose 125 or 2.17 percent to IDR 5,875, PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) rose 60 or 2.11 percent to IDR 2,910.

Meanwhile, among the top losers, shares of PT Hotel Sahid Jaya International Tbk (SHID) fell 110 or 7.59 percent to IDR 1,340, shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) fell 250 or 3.91 percent to IDR 6. 150, and PT Bank Mega Tbk (MEGA) shares fell 200 or 3.83 percent to IDR 5,025.
