PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) reported consolidated financial performance in 2023 by recording a decrease in net profit of 14.75 percent to 278.1 million US dollars from the previous year which was recorded at 326.23 million US dollars.

PGN also posted revenues of US$3.65 billion and operating profit was recorded at US$542.42 million.

The financial performance obtained is a form of management efforts to manage the optimal, reliable and safe natural gas downstream business but still provide value for relevant shareholders and stakeholders," said PGN President Director Arief S. Arief added, in achieving operational sides in 2023, PGN managed to channel a trading volume of 923 BBTUD for industrial, commercial, transportation and household needs, while for transmission volume in the transportation business it was 1,458 MMSCFD.

In oil & gas lifting, the volume generated is 25,083 BOEPD and for oil transportation there is a significant increase from 38,471 BOEPD in 2022 to 155,775 BOEPD in 2023.

In LPG, volume processing in 2023 is 106 tons per day.

In customer management, PGN's number of customers has reached 830,935 customers, with details of 825,856 households, 3,103 industries and commercial, as well as 1,976 small customers.

Arief continued, PGN in its role as a natural gas downstream manager in Pertamina, will continue to carry out its operational and investment activities innovatively and prudently in order to create organic business growth and multiplier effect of the national economy.

In addition, PGN is also more focused on developing environmentally friendly natural gas utilization during the energy transition to renewable energy.
