Early Ramadan, JCI Opened To Strengthen 0.49 Percent

JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) at the opening of trading on Wednesday, March 10, 2024, increased by 36.52 points or 0.49 percent to 7,418,437 at 09.10 WIB this morning.

Meanwhile, the JCI opened at the level of 7,382.72 while the highest level of the JCI today is at the level of 7,435.58 and the lowest is at 7,409.67.

The total volume of stock trading on the IDX reached 2.08 billion, with a transaction value of IDR 1.88 trillion. There are 206 stocks up, 216 shares down, and 235 low.

The LQ45 index rose 0.60 percent, while Japan's Nikkei 225 index moved down 0.18 percent, Hang Seng Hong Kong rose 0.14 percent, China's Shanghai Composite weakened 0.48 percent, and Singapore's Straits Times weakened 0.63 percent.

As for those who entered the ranks of Top Gainers, namely PT Hotel Shid Jaya International Tbk (SHID) up 100 or 6.85 percent to Rp1,560, PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA) rose 250 or 4.48 percent to Rp5,825, PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM) rose 140 or 3.29 percent to Rp4,390.

Meanwhile, PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) shares fell 400 or 1.65 percent to Rp23,775, PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk (PRDA) shares fell 130 or 3.00 percent to Rp4,200, and PT Bukalapak Tbk (BUKA) shares fell 5 or 3.25 percent to Rp149.
