Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head, Lisye Octaviana, said that the total volume of traffic returning to the Jabotabek area increased by 10.38 percent compared to normal traffic.

"This figure is the cumulative number of traffic flows (traffic) from the four Main Toll Gates (GT), namely GT Cikupa (from the direction of Merak), GT Ciawi (from the direction of Puncak), and GT Cikampek Utama (from the direction of Trans Java) and GT Kalihurip Utama (from the direction of Bandung)," said Lisye through an official statement, Tuesday, March 12.

Lisye said that for the distribution of traffic back to Jabotabek from the three directions, the majority were 69,554 vehicles or 48.40 percent from the East (Trans Java and Bandung) direction. Then, 38,454 vehicles or 26.76 percent from the West (Merak) direction.

"And 35,693 vehicles or 24.84 percent from the south (Puncak)," he said.

The details of the traffic distribution are as follows:

Traffic returning to Jabotabek from the direction of Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, with a total of 32,493 vehicles, or an increase of 30.27 percent from normal traffic.

Meanwhile, traffic returned to Jabotabek from the direction of Bandung via GT Kalihurip Utama Cipularang Toll Road, with a total of 37,061 vehicles, an increase of 25.85 percent from normal traffic.

"The total traffic returning to Jabotabek from the direction of Trans Java and Bandung through the two GTs was 69,554 vehicles, an increase of 27.88 percent from normal traffic," he said.

Traffic returning to Jabotabek from Merak via GT Cikupa Tangerang-Merak Toll Road is 38,454 vehicles, or 14.54 percent lower than normal traffic.

Meanwhile, the number of vehicles returning to Jabotabek from Puncak via GT Ciawi Jagorawi Toll Road was 35,693 vehicles, an increase of 15.89 percent from normal traffic.
