Support Equity, Pertagas Ensures Reliability Of Energy Distribution To Industry

PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas) ensures the reliability of energy distribution and readiness of company-owned facilities and facilities. This is to support energy equality to various industries.

"We are committed to supporting energy equality to various industries in the Central Java region, especially in supporting electricity needs," said Pertagas President Director Gamal Imam Santoso quoting Antara.

The MWT activity was attended by the board of directors and commissioners of Pertagas which was carried out in order to ensure the reliability of energy distribution, especially in the Central Java region and its surroundings.

Gamal also said that the MWT activity which took place in Semarang on Saturday (2/3/2024), focused on fulfilling the safety and security aspects of work in the Pertagas operating area so that it could run well.

A series of MWT agenda directors and the Pertagas Board of Commissioners were carried out by visiting several gas distribution facilities operated by the East Java Area (OJA) Operations Pertagas, namely the Onshore Receiving Facility (ORF) Tambak Rejo.

The field visit was continued with the Pertagas affiliate facility, namely the compressed natural gas (CNG) plant owned by PT Perta Daya Gas which supplied the needs of PT PLN Indonesia Power (IP).

During his visit, Pertamina Gas President Commissioner Wahyu Utomo expressed his appreciation for the good performance of the company that has shown optimal performance in managing all its business units.

"We hope that Pertagas Group will be able to become the leading sector in achieving operational excellence through the provision of reliable infrastructure in supporting the energy transition," said Wahyu.

MWT is an activity that is carried out regularly in all operational areas of PT Pertamina Gas as a form of commitment in ensuring the fulfillment of energy needs through reliable infrastructure (Operational Excellence) and the fulfillment of HSSE aspects, especially in supporting energy transitions through the use of natural gas as cleaner energy and supporting the Net Zero Emission (NZE) 2060 program.

Still in a series of visits, as a form of the company's concern for buffer zone communities in its operational area, Pertagas management and directors also handed over flood disaster assistance in the Central Java region to the Central Java Province Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD).

The handover of aid was handed over directly by the President Commissioner of Pertagas, Wahyu Utomo and the President Director of Pertagas, Gamal Imam Santoso to the Head of the Central Java BPBD Administration, Syafrudin.
