JCI For A Week Less 0.55 Percent, Market Capitalization Also Down To IDR 11,572.2 Trillion

JAKARTA - PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) recorded a decline in the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) for a week. JCI a week fell 0.55 percent to 7,295.1 compared to 7,335.55 at the close last week.

Quoting the IDX's written broadcast, Saturday, February 24, this week's market capitalization has changed, which was 0.27 percent to Rp11,572.22 trillion at the close of this week. This amount is compared to the previous week's Rp11,603.01 trillion.

Meanwhile, the average daily transaction frequency of shares also decreased by 2.01 percent to 1,268,643 transactions. Last week, the average daily transaction frequency of stocks was 1,294,615 transactions.

The average volume of daily stock transactions has changed by 13.08 percent over the week. Where to 15.406 billion shares from 17.723 billion shares a week ago.

The average daily transaction value of shares has changed by 26.56 percent to Rp10.15 trillion from Rp13.82 trillion a week ago.

Foreign investors on Friday, February 23 recorded a net selling value of IDR 1.05 trillion and throughout 2024 foreign investors have recorded a net purchase value of IDR 21.08 trillion.

Throughout 2024 there were 18 companies that listed their shares on the IDX, so that currently the total number of companies listed on the IDX has reached 920 companies.
