JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Arifin Tasrif officially issued a revised regulation regarding the use of solar power plants ( Rooftop Solar Power Plants).
The regulation is contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 2 of 2024 concerning Roof PLTS Connected to the Electricity Network Containing Electric Power Supply Business Permits for Public Interest (IUPTLU) and ratified by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources on January 29.
Dalam padal 7 aturan tersebut mengatur mengenai kuota pengembangan sistem PLTS Atap yakni pemegang IUPTL wajib menyusun kuota pengembangan sistem PLTS atap untuk setiap sistem energi listrik listrik. Penyusunan kuota pengembangan itu harus mempertimbangkan arah kebijakan energi nasional, rencana dan realisasi rencana usaplanan penyediaan listrik listrik (RUPTL), dan kedatalan sistem energi listrik listrik sesuai dengan ketentuan dalam aturan jaring sistem energi listrik (grid code) pemegang IUPTLU.
The roof PLTS system development quota is prepared for a period of 5 years which is detailed for each year from January to December.
Then in Article 8 (3) it is stated that the proposed quota for developing the Rooftop PLTS system for 2024 to 2028 is delivered no later than 3 months after this Ministerial Regulation is promulgated.
