Jambi's CPO Price Increases To IDR 11,612 Per Kg

JAKARTA - The Jambi Province's palm oil (FFB) fruit bunch price formulating the price of crude palm oil (CPO) increased significantly by Rp. 201 per kilogram from Rp. 11,411 to Rp. 11,612 per kilogram for the period January 26 - February 1, 2024.

"In addition to CPO, the team also agreed that the 10-20 year old palm oil FFB proceeds from Rp. 38 per kilogram from Rp. 2,542 to Rp. 2,590 per kilogram, while the palm kernel rises by Rp. 147 per kilogram from Rp. 5,491 to Rp. 5,638," said Head of the Jambi Provincial Plantation Service, Agusrizal, quoting Antara.

The price of this FFB is a price intended for farmers who have become partners of palm processing companies where the Jambi Provincial Government formed an extension through the palm oil FFB price task force in the regions.

The price of FFB in Jambi for FFB for three years of planting age set for this period is IDR 2,043 per kilogram, four years of planting age IDR 2,161 per kilogram, five years of planting age IDR 2,262 per kilogram, six years of planting age IDR 2,357 per kilogram and seven years of planting age IDR 2,417 per kilogram.

Then for eight years of planting age worth Rp2,467 per kilogram, 9 years of planting age Rp2,516 per kilogram, 10 to 20 years of planting age Rp2,590 per kilogram, 21 to 24 years of age Rp2,509 per kilogram and over 25 years of Rp2,388 per kilogram.

The prices of FFB and CPO are known based on the results of the CPO, TBS, and palm kernel pricing meetings, which are the agreement of the formulating team in a meeting attended by entrepreneurs, cooperatives and oil palm farmer groups based on ministerial regulations and governor regulations.

TBS prices vary depending on the age of various planting periods. Then this price also applies to palm oil farmers who have partnered with palm oil factories.

To maintain the stability of FFB prices in Jambi, the government has advised all districts to create a team to monitor the price of oil palm heads in their respective regions.
