KCIC Serves 156 Thousand Passengers

BANDUNG - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) recorded as many as 156 thousand passengers departing by train

KCIC General Manager Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa said, for favorite tickets on the Christmas-New Year holidays, namely on December 29, 2023, with 20,000 tickets sold.

"KCIC continues to anticipate the high interest of passengers on vacation usingASH by increasing travel by 20 percent from 40 trips per day to 48 trips per day," Eva said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, December 30.

Meanwhile, around 16,500 tickets have also been booked for Saturday's scheduled departure. This number will still increase considering that ticket sales for departure until tonight are still ongoing.

"As for the departure time, the favorite of passengers is departure in the morning from 7 to 10 in the morning and evening from 15 to evening," he said.

Since starting on December 22, 2023, KCIC has operated a total of 384PORTish trips to serve all passengers, with details of 194 trips from Halim and 194 trips to Halim.

The increase in the number of trips was carried out until January 2, 2024. This is because the increase in the number ofPORT passengers is predicted to continue to occur during the 2024 Christmas and New Year holidays.

"This addition is carried out to accommodate the needs of passengers who are expected to increase during the Nataru period. KCIC anticipates the increasing number of passengers who want to take a vacation," said Eva.

In addition, he said, his party provided 94 micro, small and medium enterprise outlets (MSMEs) at Halim Station, East Jakarta in line with the increasing number of passengers on the fast train

"A number of commercial tenants at the Halim High Speed Train Station have also started operating at the end of the year holidays. The presence of tenants with attractive promos given will increase comfort for Halim Station visitors and make this vacation experience more enjoyable," he said.
