PLN Borong 8 Subroto Award 2023 From The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources

PT PLN (Persero) managed to buy eight awards at the 2023 Subroto Award which was held by the Ministry of Mineral Energy (ESDM). Of the eight awards, 6 generators belonging to the PLN Group won the highest appreciation.

PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo expressed his gratitude for the appreciation given by the Government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to PLN.

Darmawan also said that this award adds energy for companies to continue to innovate and run environmentally friendly businesses according to the company's mission.

"To realize this mission, we continue to ensure that our business operations continue to be sustainable, including the implementation of the aspirations of Green Transformation," said Darmawan in Jakarta, Sunday, October 1.

In addition, Darmawan emphasized that PLN will also continue to be fully committed to supporting the government's plans for energy transition, also upholding commitments in maintaining operational safety, and increasing efficiency.

"Of course we are not complacent. This appreciation and appreciation is a trigger for our enthusiasm to be able to contribute even better in the future," said Darmawan.

Of the eight awards, Darmawan said, six PLN Group generators won the highest appreciation for being able to implement comprehensive electricity safety. Six PLN power plants that received the award were considered successful in increasing safety culture in the electricity sector.

The award was addressed to the Tanjung Jati B Steam Power Plant (PLTU) which won the Central Java and Bali (Jamali) Grid Code Subcategory Large-Scale PLTU and the Bali Bay PLTU Balipapan Phasil mendapatkan Subcategory PLTU Sistem Grid Code Non Jamali (Kalimantan) in the PLTU category.

Furthermore, the Tanjung Priok Steam Gas Power Plant (PLTGU) Subcategory for the Gas/Gas Steam Power Plant (PLTG/GU) Grid Code System Jamali Large-Scale and PLTGU Keramasan Subcategory PLTG/GU Grid Code System Non Jamali (Sumatra) Large-Scale which won the PLTG/GU category award.

Then, the Saguling hydroelectric power plant (PLTA) Subcategory of the Large-Scale Grid Code System and the Large-Scale hydropower plant Koto Panjang Subcategory of the Non Jamali Grid Code (Sumatra) system won the PLTA category award.

In addition, the company's efforts in efficient energy management are able to improve more reliable operations to make PLN Indonesia Power Priok Power Generation Unit (PGU) the winner in the Energy Management subcategory in Building Buildings and Industry.

Finally, PLN Indonesia Power Saguling Power Generation and O&M Service Unit (POMU) also won the Aneka Energi Baru Terbaru (EBT) On Grid category. PLN Indonesia Power Saguling POMU is considered capable of increasing the use of domestic components in terms of the Aneka EBT generating component. In addition, PLN is also considered capable of implementing the massive use of EBT and encouraging acceleration of emission reduction.

Meanwhile, Energy Minister of Energy ESDM Arifin Tasrif said that the Subroto Award is an appreciation of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to stakeholders in the ESDM sector who have the best performance.

"Subroto awards are the highest award given by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to stakeholders who have performed their best in advancing the energy sector and mineral resources in Indonesia in the last year," said Arifin.
