JAKARTA The Task Force for Handling State Collection Rights for the Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance Fund (BLBI Task Force) carried out physical control activities in the form of installing a sign on property assets belonging to the former Bank PDFCI (BTO) in Cianjur, West Java.

Head of the BLBI Task Force Rionald Silaban said the confiscated object was in the form of land with a total area of 36,795 square meters located in Karanganunggal Village, Cibeber District, Cianjur Regency.

Rionald explained that the physical control of the assets was carried out by the BLBI Task Force Team, the Head of the Bogor KPKNL, Bimo Aryo and his staff, and accompanied by security from the BLBI Bareskrim Police Gakkum Task Force Team led by Kombes Pol Hernowo Yulianto, SIK, and local government officials.

"Against the assets that have been carried out by physical control, management optimization will then be carried out in accordance with applicable regulations," he said.

Rionald revealed that for the next stage the BLBI Task Force has planned acts of physical control over property assets spread across various cities/districts in Indonesia.

"The BLBI Task Force has carried out a series of strategies, programs, and activities to return collection rights to the state with efforts to collect obligors/debtors and handle property assets which are carried out in stages and measurably," he stressed.

To note, the Task Force for Handling State Collection Rights for the Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance Fund was formed with Presidential Decree Number 6 of 2021 jo. Presidential Decree Number 16 of 2021 and will end its term of office at the end of this year.
