Sampoerna 2.0 MSME Festival In 2023 Celebrates Sampoerna Anniversary 110th

JAKARTA - For the second time, the Sampoerna Group has held the Sampoerna 2023 MSME Festival which has been taking place since August 21, 2023. The event, which is supported by 110 MSMEs, both culinary and household needs, is also filled with various talk shows and training for MSME players to improve their managerial skills, marketing, production, and financial management.

In addition, the MSME Festival also facilitates consultation/assistance services to obtain legality of Business Identification Numbers (NIB), Consultation Services for Halal Product Certificates, Tax Consultation, Brand Consultation and HAKI, and Consulting for Circular Permits (PIRT etc.) as well as passport-making services.

It was opened on Monday, August 21, 2023 by the Minister of Cooperatives and MSMEs Teten Masduki, also attended by the Head of the PP UKM Office of DKI Jakarta Province, Elisabeth Ratu Rente Allo, Property & Project Director of PT Sampoerna Land, Sentosa Sitia, President Director of Bank Sahabat Sampoerna Ali Rukmijah and Chairman of KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati D. Irja Pratama.

In his remarks, Minister Teten said that KemenKopUKM also supports Sampoerna who continues to be connected to MSME actors. Until now, Sampoerna Group is considered to be one of the big businesses that has contributed to the progress of MSMEs.

The UMKM Festival is a form of Sampoerna's real support to contribute to the development of MSMEs in Indonesia. This festival is not only limited to efforts to introduce quality products produced by MSMEs but has a multiplier effect to MSME actors," he said.

Teten continued, so far we have continued to encourage MSMEs to advance to class. One of them is related to efforts to facilitate licensing for MSMEs through assistance. So that there are no more informal MSMEs, at least they have NIB (Trying Identification Number), and even make it easier for them to get halal certification, including financing.

Meanwhile, Luqmanul Hakim as the organizing committee for the 2023 Sampoerna MSME Festival said that this event was a series of activities in the context of Sampoerna's 110th birthday.

This MSME festival is the last series of activities before the peak of Sampoerna's 110th anniversary celebration on August 27, 2023. several of its previous series were Blood Donor which was held on August 9 at Atrium Sampoerna Strategic Square in collaboration with Thalasemia Movement and PMI DKI Jakarta, PMI Bekasi Regency with more than 300 blood bags, out of 500 registrants, present on the occasion the chairman of PMI DKI Jakarta, Mr. Rustam Effendi.

Furthermore, at this MSME festival, there were several activities that were carried out, namely Bazaar 110 MSMEs consisting of Crafts, Fashion and Culinary. In addition, there are talk shows with various themes, one of which is and qualified speakers including Deputy Minister of Trade Jerry Sambuaga, Chairman of HIPMI Akbar Himawan Buchari, director of licensing services for OSS Ministry of Investment/BKPM Edy Junaedi.

There are also MSME consulting services and assistance to obtain legality of Business Identification Numbers (NIB), halal certification, brand certificates, distribution permits from BPOM and tax consultations for MSMEs. This aims to facilitate easy access to services for MSME actors. There is also passport-making services for the general public and employees who are in Sampoerna Strategic Square.

Until the closure of the Sampoerna MSME Festival on August 25, 2023, it was recorded that more than 5000 visitors, economic turnover of 60-70 million per day, more than 500 facilitated by passport making. In addition, more than 100 MSMEs have received assistance in business legality services.

Meanwhile, Property & Project Director of PT Sampoerna Land Sentosa Sitia said this year's MSME Festival will be Sampoerna's second event. He hopes that the implementation of the MSME Festival will be able to make a greater contribution to the progress of MSMEs and the national economy.

Last year's turnover at the MSME Festival was recorded at Rp400 million. This year, followed by 110 business actors, we are targeting to reach Rp600 million so that there is an increase in the number of turnover for MSMEs involved," he said.
