The Ministry Of PUPR Calls The ASN Flat Construction Contract At IKN Ready To Be Signed This Week

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) is targeting the signing of a contract for the construction of a flat project (Rusun) for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) to be carried out this week.

Head of the IKN Infrastructure Development Task Force (Satgas) of the Ministry of PUPR Danis Hidayat Sumadilaga said the signing of the ASN Flats project was originally scheduled for August 16, 2023.

However, the process needs to be delayed and is targeted to take place this week.

"Actually, for the ASN tower, the plan is to sign the contract yesterday, August 16, 2023, but we are a bit backward and this is being prepared. When the auction is complete," said Danis when met at the PUPR Ministry Building, quoted Monday, August 21.

After implementing the contract, the PUPR Ministry will immediately consolidate to prepare planning products (detail engineering design/DED) in the maximum time (range) one month before finally starting construction work immediately.

The total number of ASN flats to be built reached 47 towers with a contract value reported at Rp9.4 trillion and sourced from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN).

Later, the construction of the ASN flat, which is located in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP), is targeted to be completed in full by the end of 2024.

"The work for ASN housing was indeed included in Phase II. At that time, I projected (the work started) around June-August. Well, the plan was to sign the contract yesterday, August 16, but we were a bit backward. So, in batch (stage) II the big work was 47 ASN towers," he said.

The construction of the 47 ASN flats is included in the construction of Phase IKN II along with a number of other jumbo projects such as the construction of the IKN Access Toll Road Section 6A and 6B to the access Toll Road to VVIP Airport Section 5B.

As previously reported, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) revealed that the construction of 47 state civil servants (ASN) in IKN Nusantara, East Kalimantan, will begin in August 2023.

"As many as 47 ASN flats with the APBN scheme may be able to start signing contracts this August and immediately start construction," said Head of the IKN Infrastructure Development Task Force of the Ministry of PUPR Danis Sumadilaga in Jakarta, quoted on Thursday, August 10.

However, Danis said that there are only about 12 towers of 47 ASN flat towers that can be completed in 2024 and the ASN flat can be occupied immediately.

A total of 12 ASN flat towers are projected to accommodate around 2,200 ASN who will be transferred to IKN Nusantara.
