The Selling Price Of Palm Oil FFB In Nagan Raya Increases To IDR 1,940 Per Kg

ACEH - The Department of Plantation of Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh Province, noted that the selling price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) for oil palm farmers has increased to Rp1,940 per kilogram (Kg).

"Improving the selling price of palm oil FFB is due to the improving export price of crude palm oil or CPO," said Head of the Nagan Raya Regency Plantation Service Abdul Latif as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, July 27.

Two weeks ago, he said, the selling price of palm oil FFB was in the range of Rp. 1,800 to Rp. 1,880 per kilogram.

According to him, the difference in the selling price of FFB to palm oil companies (PMKS) is because it is adjusted to the conditions of FFB and redements as well as a number of other factors.

With the increase in the selling price of palm oil FFB, it has increased the enthusiasm of farmers to harvest palm oil in their gardens.

In addition, the price increase supports the improvement of the community's economy to meet daily needs, and can be used as additional care for oil palm plantations.

According to him, the Nagan Raya Regency Government asked all PMKS in its area to buy palm oil FFB according to the government's pricing.

He said the local government was still guided by the rules that had been set and mutually agreed upon, regarding the increase in the selling price of palm oil FFB.

Thus, it is hoped that farmers will be more prosperous and prosperous and maintain the company's operational continuity.
