PLN Reminds People To Pay Attention To This Before Leaving Home During Homecoming

JAKARTA - PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo reminded the public to pay attention to several things related to electricity before leaving their homes to do Lebaran homecoming.

"When the Eid homecoming time arrives and all family members have to leave their homes, the public needs to ensure the safety of their electrical installations," Darmawan said in an RDP with Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives as quoted on Thursday, April 20.

Here are tips from PLN so that electricity is safe during Eid 1444 H homecoming:

1. Check the electrical connection. If there is any electronic equipment that is not needed, immediately remove it from the socket.

2. For postpaid customers, pay for electricity at the beginning of the month or before the 20th to make it more comfortable and avoid termination. For prepaid customers, fill in enough electricity tokens and prepare backups if needed to keep the electricity on, especially for lighting.

3. Check the electrical installation in the house before going home. Especially if there is a short circuit frequently. Try with the help of the registered installation.

4. If the electricity at home is not sufficient, immediately add official power to PLN using the added promo for Ramadan 2023.

5. Report to the local RT and RW, as well as entrust the house to your closest neighbors who do not go home for Eid.

"We appeal to the entire community to carry out electrical checks before going home, so that homecoming is safe and comfortable," said Darmawan.

He also appealed to people who need PLN services to access the PLN Mobile application available on the PlayStore and App Store.

"On the PlayStore, the PLN Mobile application gets a classy review from users with a rating of 4.9 on a scale of 5 which shows the customer's appreciation for improving services at PLN.," he concluded.
