Homecoming Surge, Astra-Merak Toll Road Will Discount Up To 20 Percent

JAKARTA - Ahead of the 2023 Eid homecoming and reverse flow, the Tangerang-Merak Astra Toll Road provides a tariff discount of 20 percent.

President Director of Astra Infra Toll Road Tangerang-Merak Kris Ade Sudiyono said this was done as a policy for the management of the Tangerang-Merak Astra Toll Road in order to improve services to people who want to go home early to stay in touch for Eid al-Fitr 2023.

The tariff discount on the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road is valid for the furthest distance (Cikupa-Merak) for all groups of vehicles.

"We want Lebaran this year to be more harmonious for people who will celebrate, for that we will provide discounts on this tariff. This discount complements our efforts to provide the best service to the community that we have done through capacity building and quality of our services," Kris said in his official statement, quoted Friday, April 14.

Kris said another effort provided by Astra Tangerang-Merak Toll Road was to add extra services in the form of increasing road capacity to 3 lanes in the Cikande segment to East Serang or 20 km.

In addition, Kris said, his party also increased the parking capacity of vehicles at the KM 43 rest area towards Merak and Parking Bay KM 36 towards Merak and Jakarta.

Then, increase the capacity of transaction services using tandem substations at toll gates with high traffic potential, to carry out maximum coordination related to traffic management for smooth running and convenience for road users at several rest areas and toll gates, such as at Cikupa toll gates, KM 43 rest area and KM 68 Merak direction.

Not only that, road users will also be more facilitated in accessing traffic service information using the "MyInfo Tol" application which was just launched on April 12.

The following is the schedule for the implementation of tariff discounts on the Tangerang-Merak toll road for Eid Al-Fitr 2023 homecoming:

1. Homecoming period

- April 16, 2023 at 06.00 WIB- April 18, 2023 at 06.00 WIB

2. Backflow period

- 27 April 2023 at 06.00 WIB- 28 April 2023 at 06.00 WIB
