List Of Indonesia's Fantastic Budget For The U-20 World Cup

JAKARTA - FIFA recently canceled Indonesia to host the U-20 World Cup due to the rejection of the Israeli national team by a number of parties.

In fact, the government through the Ministry of PUPR has spent around Rp322 billion to prepare the venue for the second-largest event.

Viewed by VOI from the LPSE website of the Ministry of PUPR, on Friday, March 31, there are at least six project packages related to the venue that will be used by Indonesia as the host of the U-20 World Cup.

FIFA itself has chosen Indonesia as the host of the U-20 World Cup since 2019 and should have been held in 2021. However, the event had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and could only be implemented in 2023.

The U-20 World Cup should be held on May 20-June 11, 2023 in a number of venues that have been determined in a number of regions in Indonesia.

To prepare as the host, Indonesia has also polished a number of stadiums to be used.

The rehabilitation of the stadium was carried out by the Ministry of PUPR using the 2020 State Budget.

Contract price: IDR 2,032,301,304 (IDR 2 billion)

2. Consultant for Construction Management of Main Venue Renovation and U-20 World Cup Training Field in Bali Province.

Contract price: IDR 3,111,817,500 (IDR 3.1 billion)

3. Consultant for Construction Management for the Renovation of the U-20 World Cup Training Field in West Java, East Java and South Sumatra Provinces.

Contract price: IDR 2,405,920,000 (IDR 2.4 billion)

4. Renovation of the Main Venue and U-20 World Cup Training Field in Surakarta City, Central Java Province (Central Java).

Contract price: IDR 78,830,903,072 (IDR 78.8 billion)

5. Renovation of the Main Venue and U-20 World Cup Training Field in Bali Province.

Contract Price: IDR 152,969,943,592 (IDR 152 billion)

6. Renovation of the U-20 World Cup Training Field in West Java, East Java and South Sumatra Provinces.

Contract Price: IDR 83,028,980,238 (IDR 83 billion)

The six packages were given the statement 'Tender has been completed', bringing the total PUPR budget for the rehabilitation of the U-20 World Cup venue to Rp322,379,865,706 (Rp322 billion).
