Bulog Aceh Ready To Accommodate Farmers' Results

JAKARTA - The Bulog Bulog Office of Aceh Province stated that it is ready to accommodate grain from farmers' crops in the local province at the price of milled dry unhulled rice (GKG) in the company's warehouse of Rp. 6,300 per kilogram and medium rice of Rp. 9,950 per kilogram.

"God willing, we are ready to accommodate all crops owned by farmers in Aceh Province," said Bulog Aceh Leader Irsan Nasution in Banda Aceh, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, March 21.

He explained that the government-owned company opened an unlimited opportunity and was ready to buy a large amount of rice yields belonging to farmers in the province at the westernmost end of Indonesia.

According to him, his party has also built intense communication with partners and mills so that they can absorb the maximum rice harvested by the community throughout the central area of rice production, especially.

"Bulog is assigned by the government, in this case the National Food Agency purchases Government Rice Reserves with reference to flexibility," he said.

He said Bulog is ready to accommodate grain from the quality harvest of Dry Giling Grain (GKG) at a price of Rp6,300 per kg and medium quality rice at a price of Rp9,950 per kg in Bulog's warehouse.

Meanwhile, the realization of the purchase in 2023 that has been carried out by Perum Bulog Aceh GKG is 720 tons and premium rice is 2,027 tons where the price of rice adjusts to the market.

He hopes that farmers do not need to worry about the selling price of unhulled rice in the 2023 harvest season, because the company is ready to accommodate and buy crops in accordance with the provisions set by the government.
