Samator Gelontortor Rp500 Billion Bangun Factory At KIT Batang

JAKARTA - PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk (AGII) will build an industrial area in Batang, Central Java. The investment value reaches IDR 500 billion.

President Director of PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (KITB) Ngurah Wirawan, in Batang, Saturday, said that the presence of PT Samator would provide more value for the area in providing industrial gas supply for other regional tenants, such as KCC Glass, Ceramic House, Yih Quan, and Wavin.

"We hope that the construction of the Samator plant can be carried out on time and can operate and absorb labor next year," he said, quoting Antara.

The plan is that the establishment of PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk which has carried out a "ground breaking" on Friday (17/3) will be reported to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the exhibition at Hannover Messe in Germany.

The largest gas supplier company in Indonesia will stand on an area of 28 thousand square meters, and is targeted to operate from the fourth quarter of 2024.

President Director of PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk Rachmat Harsono said the factory at KITB will be the 56th factory with an investment value of IDR 500 billion.

"This new factory in KITB will also support our dedication to serving industrial gas needs in Central Java and participating in Indonesia's journey in the era of smart and sustainable industrialization," he said.

PT Samator targets to increase operational capacity (capacity increase) by 15-20 percent, including by developing an operational factory at Grand Batang City KITB.

"The building to be established in Grand Batang City consists of 70 percent of the land for green open areas and 30 percent for industrial buildings," said Rachmat Harsono.
