PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has prepared a rented house for people whose houses were damaged due to the Integrated Incident of the Jakarta Plumpang Terminal.

"Now what we provide is financial assistance for temporary rented or residential facilities for people who previously fled and their houses were affected," said PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Irto Ginting in a statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Monday, March 13.

Irto said that the current condition of the community is gradually improving, starting from the closure of several refugee posts, one of which is the evacuation post at the PMI North Jakarta Office.

Irto said that Pertamina is currently fully committed to the entire process of recovering victims and communities affected by the Plumpang incident. This commitment is realized in the form of assistance in the form of basic necessities such as food and clothing, public kitchens, victim care costs, and funeral expenses.

Irto continued, the rented assistance will be provided in an aid fund scheme, with a total of IDR 1.2 million per month for three months, as well as an additional IDR 2 million for the rental needs.

"So the total received is IDR 5.6 million. We hope this assistance can again ease the affected communities and accelerate the overall recovery process," he said.

North Jakarta PMI chairman Rizal said the evacuation had been closed since Saturday, March 11 at 20.00 WIB, since then there have been no more survivors of the displaced Integrated Terminal Jakarta Plumpang.

The displaced people have been able to return home, they have been provided with a rented house financed by Pertamina. We also participated in helping survivors move from the evacuation post to the rented house, including preparing daily needs for journalists such as cleaning equipment, food, and beds," Rizal explained.

The same thing can be seen at the RPTRA Rasela refugee post, where no one has occupied the evacuation post since Saturday.
