Homecoming Train Tickets Sold 385,341 Seats, KAI Disbursed The Most Favorite Route

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI noted that long-distance train tickets during the Eid 2023 homecoming period had sold 385,341 as of today.

The tickets sold were for train departures in the period 12 to 24 April 2023.

VP of Public Relations Joni Martinus said 28 percent of the total tickets sold were 1,376,894 tickets.

"The number will still increase, because sales are still ongoing," he said in a statement, Friday, March 10.

Joni revealed that the favorite relations routes so far are Jakarta-Yogyakarta, Jakarta-Solo, Jakarta-Surabaya, Jakarta-Purwokerto, Bandung-Blitar, and others.

Meanwhile, based on the date of departure, the favorite train was ordered, including April 20, 2023, due to 53 percent; April 21, 2023 as much as 50 percent and April 19, 2023 as much as 45 percent.

Adapun perjalanan KA yang masuk lima terbesar dalam okupansi yang telah dipesan di antaranya KA Airlangga sebanyak 90,69 persen; KA Kahuripan 86,12 persen; KA Bengawan 83,58 persen; KA Sri Tanjung 66,81 persen dan KA Serayu 51,18 persen.

"KAI hopes that the community can plan their journey well because the train tickets for the Eid Transport period are still quite widely available," he said.
