Net Profit Skyrockets 104 Percent, United Tractor Will Distribute Dividends Of Up To IDR 6,185

JAKARTA - PT United Tractor Tbk (UNTR) will propose a higher distribution of final dividends at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS). The AGMS will be held in April 2023.

Citing information disclosure, February 28, the Company's Board of Directors plans to propose a higher final dividend, which is IDR 6,185 per share.

The final dividend to be proposed together with an interim dividend of IDR 818 per share that has been distributed in October 2022, will make the total dividend to be proposed for 2022 to be IDR 7,003 per share.

It should be noted that certainty regarding the amount of dividends to be distributed will still be subject to approval from the Company's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.

The Board of Directors' proposal for a higher final dividend is based on the Company's excellent profitability which is supported by the unprecedented high price of coal in 2022 and solid operational performance.

The Company believes that the operational fundamentals and strong balance sheet conditions of the Company will allow the Company to continue to channel capital in Indonesia and accelerate its transition strategy.

Dengan adanya fundamental tersebut dapat meningkatkan pendapatan bisnis non batu bara serta mengembalikan sebagian excess capital kepada pemegang saham.

Meanwhile, looking at the 2022 UNTR financial statements, the company earned a net profit of IDR 21 trillion. This amount is up 104 percent compared to 2021 which amounted to IDR 10.28 trillion.

The Company's consolidated net income reached IDR 123.6 trillion, an increase of 56% compared to 2021.

Each business unit, namely: Construction Machines, Mining Contractors, Coal Mining, Gold Mining, Construction Industry, and Energy consecutively contributed 30 percent, 38 percent, 25 percent, 6 percent, 1 percent and less than 1 percent of the total consolidated net income.
