JAKARTA - The 2023 Indonesian International Motor Show (IIMS) automotive exhibition was officially opened by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, on Thursday, February 16. IIMS 2023 lasts for 11 days until 26 February.

IIMS 2023 itself has been enlivened by more than 40 automotive brands. This exhibition features a new row of cars.

Some carry a concept car that has never been introduced before, making it interesting to see.

1. Esemka

Earlier this year the public was shocked by the sudden news from Esemka's car. For a long time, it was not heard, Esemka announced that she would appear at the IIMS 2023 event. The brand, which was identified by the public as Jokowi's political tool, performed at IIMS 2023 by introducing two types of flagship cars.

At IIMS 2023, two Esemka car models were exhibited, namely Bima 1.3 and Bima EV or Electric Vehicle. For Esemka, Bima 1.3 is an old item, while Bima EV is a new model that uses electric machines.

2. Suzuki

In addition to Esemka which suddenly appeared, another surprise came from Suzuki. At the IIMS 2023 event, the Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) shocked the stage by releasing the Grand Vitara. Yes, this name is clearly familiar considering that this SUV genre car had enlivened roads in Indonesia from the 90s to the early 2000s.

Armed with smart technology, Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS), Grand Vitara is reborn and becomes a car with electrification technology in the Medium Sport Utility Vehicle (MSUV) class. PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) has officially launched a new edition of the sport utility vehicle (SUV), namely the Hyundai CRETA Dynamic Black Edition.

This car itself has a futuristic and stylish appearance. In addition, there is a combination of advanced Hyundai technology such as Hyundai Bluelink, thus making Hyundai CRETA Dynamic Black Edition one of the interesting vehicles.
