During the meeting, Minister Budi Karya and Iswaran also witnessed the signing of documents between the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation and the Singapore Ministry of Transportation, as a follow-up to the FIR agreement between the two countries in 2022.

"This is a joint effort of the two countries to improve safety, regularity, and efficiency in air space management in the regions of the two countries. This step also shows the commitment of the two countries to implement the FIR agreement that was signed last year," he said.

During his visit to Singapore, the Minister of Transportation also visited a logistics port in Singapore.

"We want to find the latest design and technology references for port development in Indonesia," he said.

Regarding the development of human resources in the transportation sector, Minister of Transportation Budi also encouraged the implementation of field work practice programs for official schools under the auspices of the Transportation Human Resources Development Agency.

On this occasion, Budi also appreciated one of the field work practice programs that had been carried out at the Singapore Transportation Attach, where the program provided an opportunity for the Officer or cadet-Taruni to gain experience for 6 months working at the Attach office.
