Continue The TS PJU Program, Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources Installs Light At 300 Points In South Sumatra

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) through the Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (Ditjen EBTKE) continues the Solar Power Information infrastructure program (PJU TS) in South Sumatra.

Secretary of the Directorate General of EBTKE Sahid Junaidi said that the PJU TS built in South Sumatra Province was built with 300 units of state budget financing in 2022, 100 points spread across Palembang City, 90 points in Banyuasin Regency, 90 points in North Musi Rawas Regency, 10 points in Ogan Ilir Regency, and 10 points in East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency.

"The PJU TS Installation Program is a program of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) through the aspirations of Commission VII DPR-RI with the support of the Regional Government, as one of the solutions for electrical efficiency for lighting focused on rural roads, especially those that are difficult to reach PLN networks", said Sahid as quoted on Friday, February 10.

Sahid said that the TS PJU installation program is one of the solutions for energy efficiency to utilize new and renewable energy (EBT).

Along with the implementation of the tariff adjustment in the third quarter of 2022 for households with a power of 3,500 VA or more, including the PJU tariff category.

"The installation of PJUTS will be very useful for local governments to save regional spending, but can still serve the community through PJU TS," he concluded.

To note, the TS PJU given to this program has a two-year maintenance guarantee, plus a three-year system guarantee since maintenance guarantee ends.

So that a total of five years of repair guarantees are borne by providers.

The 1 set of TS PJU components consist of:

- 1 (one) solar module fruit, 300 Wp;

- 1 (one) LED lights 40 W/24 V;

- 1 (one) Li-FePO4 25.6V 40Ah+BMS Battery and box battery;

- 1 (one) Solar Charge Controller;

- Tiang, foundation, cable and accessories PJU TS.

The TS PJU installation program is a sustainable program, starting from 2015 to 2022, the Directorate General of EBTKE has built 111,233 units of TS PJU, equivalently lighting up 5,562 KM long roads.

In 2022, 20,546 units of PJU TS have been built, equivalent to lighting a 1,027 km long road.

Meanwhile, in 2023, the TS PJU development target will increase to 31,075 units
