Waskita Beton Completes The Cimanggis-Cibitung Toll Road Project Section 2 In The Second Quarter Of 2023

JAKARTA - PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP), a subsidiary of BUMN Waskita Karya, is targeting the completion of the supply of the CimanggisCibitung or Cimanggis Cibitung Tollways (CCTW) Section 2 toll road project in the second quarter of 2023.

"There are many large infrastructure projects that we are pursuing to complete. This is a national strategic project for the government," said WSBP Director of Operations Sugiharto in a statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday, February 9.

WSBP's contribution to infrastructure is a form of the company's high commitment to supporting government programs to advance development in Indonesia. One of the major projects being supplied is the Cimanggis "Cibitung" Toll Road Project (CCTW) Section 2 along 23.3 km. Starting the product supply since TW II/2016, WSBP targets supply completion in the second quarter of 2023.

"Until now, the total supply progress has reached 79.98 percent," said Sugiharto.

To pursue the completion target, WSBP has deployed the resource capabilities of its six production sites or plants, namely Plant Bojonegara and five plants in West Java (Plant Cibitung, Plant Karawang, Plant Sadang, Plant Kalijati, and Plant Subang).

For readymix (A-E Class) products, we supply them from BP CCTW. Meanwhile, we supply PCI girders, PCU girders, piles, full slabs from the six plants," said Sugiharto.

WSBP realizes that to be able to build a solid infrastructure in the long term, quality concrete products are needed. Therefore, the company always pays attention to the quality and implementation of the K3 procedure in every production process carried out.

"We are always committed to supply high-quality, durable, and of course timely product delivery," said Sugiharto.

The role of WSBP in the construction of the CCTW Toll Road Project is not the first time. Eight years earlier, WSBP won this project contract in 2015 for CCTW Section 1A. WSBP managed to complete this first section at the end of 2020 for 3.17 km. In this section WSBP supplied readymix (Class A - E) from BP CCTW, and PCI girder, CCSP, pile, full slab. For the WSBP precast product, it also relies on product advantages from the WSBP plant, including Plant Bojonegara, Plant Cibitung, Plant Karawang, Plant Sadang, Plant Kalijati, and Plant Subang.

It is hoped that after this toll road is completed, it can save travel time, encourage faster the rate of logistics delivery and facilitate community mobility, and revive the economy of the surrounding community.
