Bappenas Calls Ganjar The Only Governor Who Comes Down Directly For RPD Susun

Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo received appreciation from the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) regarding the preparation of the Regional Development Plan (RPD) and the Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD). The reason is, Ganjar is said to be the only governor who is directly involved in greeting the RPD design.

This was conveyed by the Regional Director I of Bappenas RI Abdul Malik Sadat Idris virtually at the Opening of the 2023 Musrenbang Initial Period and Public Consultation of the 2024 RKPD Initial Draft, at Gradhika Bhakti Praja, Friday, February 3.

"I testify, from various RPD series in the province (other), the only person (governor) who attended directly," said Abdul starting his presentation.

Abdul appreciated Ganjar's concern who was present at the event. "I really respect sir and respect your concern for the national development planning event. Greetings from us sir," he said.

On that occasion, Abdul also said that the acceleration of development in Central Java until 2024 was very much felt. In fact, it is included in the top five national map developments. "So that the future orientation in 2045 is the power of calculation for Central Java on the global map," he said.

Abdul also highlighted governance issues. This is important to support the regional investment climate going well. "Because investment can come in when the local government has good governance and that I think Central Java is no longer a problem," he said.

Met after the event, Governor Ganjar Pranowo said it was important to carry out this Musrenbang to accommodate the aspirations of the people of Central Java. So that policies that are born by the government will include the needs of the community.

"We are opening the musrenbang, we convey the big issues with one hope that the community will respond soon," he said.

The two-term Governor of Central Java is pleased with the input submitted by community groups. Among other things, the issue of early marriage, domestic violence, to the welfare problems of migrant workers.

"After this, we will start to narrow down to make priority scales in accordance with what is ordered by the center so that it is inline. Center, district and city provinces," he said.

In addition, Ganjar continued, big problems that are also national programs are also resolved. If the center talks about solving poverty, stunting, reviving the economy, it means that we translate what, investment, employment and that will later become a policy," he said.

Regarding Bappenas' assessment, Ganjar felt that it was not as good as it was conveyed. However, the provincial government is not silent and participates in supporting national programs. "Our efforts are because there is a central program like that, we have to pick up the ball," he said.

The form of effort taken is the achievement of an attractive investment climate for investors. It is proven that in 2022, at least 97 companies will relocate their factories to Central Java. Several indicators that attract investors, continued Ganjar, include the location of industrial areas, ease of access, integrity that are upheld so that Central Java is free of corruption and extortion as well as wages for competing workers.

In the event, Ganjar invited a number of representatives of community groups. Among other things, vulnerable groups, namely migrant workers, the elderly, people with disabilities to children. In addition, all OPDs are also present in the ranks of the Central Java Provincial Government.

Ganjar also invited the Central Java DPRD and the Head of BI representatives of Central Java, Rahmat Dwi Saputra.
