JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) will continue the construction of three flyovers in South Sumatra Province (Sumsel), this year. The three flyovers to be built have a length of 2,165 meters, namely the Sekip Ujung, Gelumbang, and Bantaian Flyovers.

Finally, the Bantaian Flyover which is located at the railroad crossing on the Belimbing-Batas intersection section, Muara Enim Regency. This flyover has an overall length of 650 meters with a main span of 50 meters, equipped with a short road from the Palembang direction of 300 meters and a Muara Enim direction of 350 meters.

The construction of this flyover will pay attention to the beautification aspect of building ornaments by prioritizing local arts and culture, so that it isautified by aesthetics in Muara Enim Regency.

The third physical flyover work was carried out by PPK 3.6 PJN 3, South Sumatra National Road Implementation Center (BBPJN), Directorate General (Ditjen) Bina Marga with contractor PT. Waskita-Kencana (KSO) through funds for State Sharia Securities worth IDR 152 billion.
