Throughout 2022, The DKI Provincial Government Will Salurkan Business Credit To 6,023 MSMEs In Jakarta

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has disbursed people's business loans (KUR) worth IDR 1.15 trillion to 6,023 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) throughout 2022.

KUR in Jakarta through the regional development bank (BPD) owned by the DKI Provincial Government, namely Bank DKI. Bank DKI President Director Fidri Arnaldy said that the distribution of KUR was carried out to expand access to capital for MSMEs.

"As one of the KUR channeling banks, Bank DKI is not only committed to increasing access to financing, but also empowering and assisting MSMEs to continue to grow and develop in supporting national economic growth," Fidri said in his statement, Sunday, January 22.

Based on the instructions of the DKI Provincial Government, the distribution of KUR to MSMEs focuses on several sectors, namely people's plantations, people's livestock, people's fisheries, the MSME industry, and other businesses that have great market opportunities or superior products in the country.

Finally, Bank DKI was involved in distributing KUR programs based on business groups or clusters at the State Palace through the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, some time ago.

"The government continues to be committed to encouraging increased capital for MSMEs in order to maintain national economic stability amid the projection of uncertainty in global economic conditions in 2023," he said.

It is known, the KUR program for the interest subsidy scheme has been disbursed since 2015 to MSMEs. In the last seven years, the KUR volume has continued to increase in value with a total distribution of almost Rp1,300 trillion throughout Indonesia. Meanwhile, the realization of KUR for the January 2022 period until December 15, 2022, amounting to Rp348.47 trillion or 93.38 percent of the 2022 target of Rp373.17 trillion, was given to around 7.27 million debtors.

For KUR clusters, those who have accessed are 14,888 clusters with a total of 1.3 million MSME units, and the realization of distribution (as of December 15, 2022) is IDR 4.8 trillion or 96.7 percent of the total IDR 4.9 trillion.
