KCIC Sends The EMU Of The Jakarta Bandung Batch Dua High-speed Train Towards The Tegalluar Depo Bandung

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) sent an Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train (KCJB) batch two to Depo Tegalluar, Bandung, West Java.

"Alhamdulillah, the EMU series in batch 2 shipments has begun to be mobilized towards the Tegalluar Depo. Hopefully this mobilization process can run smoothly," said PT KCIC Corporate Secretary Rahadian Ratry in a statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday 12 January.

He said the arrival of these four EMU series added to the list of KCJB EMUs that had arrived in Indonesia to six series from 11 series that will be used for KCJB operational needs.

Delivery of the Electric Multiple Unite (EMU) of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train (KCJB) batch two began on Wednesday (11/1). A total of four EMU series will be mobilized in stages to the Tegalluar Depo Bandung.

A total of four series of KCJB projects have arrived in Indonesia on December 25, 2022. Currently, the EMU series is at the Cakung PLB.

The process of sending the EMU batch-2 to the Tegalluar Depo involves an escort team from the Ditgakum Korlantas Polri team. Rahadian explained that the technical escort took place by coordinating, inspecting the feasibility of transportation or transportation equipment and preparing human resources.

Then the completeness of the attributes, to escorting the patrol car in front and behind the transportation of every trip. The EMU to the Tegalluar Depo is carried out in stages and will take place at night so as not to interfere with traffic flow.

"The delivery process is carried out in accordance with the SOP and directions from the Ditgakum Korlantas Polri team. Of course, we thank all relevant parties for the cooperation for the smooth running of the first fast train project in ASEAN," said Rahadian.

In the process, he said the trip was divided into two periods to go to Depo Tegalluar. The first period took place from zero point at PLB Cakung to rest area at KM 72. On the next day or the second period, the escort took place from the KM 72 rest area towards its final destination at the Tegalluar depot.

Upon arrival at the Tegalluar Depo, this series of EMUs will be reassembled before testing is carried out, either static or dynamically testing the fast train features. For five other series of fast trains, Rahadian said he would arrive in Indonesia in stages until March 2023.

"The process of sending and mobilizing EMU to Depo Tegalluar is part of preparations ahead of operations. We ask for prayers so that all processes can run smoothly and apologize if the EMU mobilization process disrupts traffic flow," he said.
