JAKARTA - The government through the Director General of State Assets of the Ministry of Finance Rionald Silaban inaugurated the Coffee Cluster Foreign Exchange Village in Bener Meriah Regency, Central Aceh.

In his statement, Rionald said that this effort was an important step in increasing gayo coffee production, especially for the export market.

"Development of Foreign Exchange Villages in Bener Meriah Regency is the result of synergy between the Aceh Government, LPEI, the Ministry of Finance One Aceh, the Bener Meriah Regency Government and Bank Syariah Indonesia with 125 coffee farmers from 5 villages located in Bener Meriah Regency," he said in a press release today, Wednesday, January 11.

According to Rionald, the Foreign Exchange Village will continue to receive assistance and also capital facilities from the government through LPEI.

"It is hoped that this strategy will encourage the production of gayo coffee, which is already worldwide, to further develop and produce the best quality so that it can be globally competitive," he said.

On the same occasion, LPEI Managing and Operations Director Agus Windiarto said, as the Special Mission Vehicle of the Ministry of Finance, his party is determined to bring national commodities into the export market.
