Logistics, Education, And Expansive Health Sectors This Year

JAKARTA - Cash Management Division Head Bank OCBC NISP Amran Setiawan sees the logistics, education, and health sectors as potentially to expand its wings by conducting business expansion in 2023. "These sectors do not even have the potential to expand in 2023, but for the long term in the future," Amran said at the Media Gathering event quoted by Antara, Thursday, January 5. He explained that the logistics sector has great potential for business expansion in line with the current improving mobilization. As for supporting this sector, OCBC NISP has participated in the government program, namely the National Logistics Ecosystem (NLE). Then for the education sector, expansion is likely to occur in the long term because the sector is not dead, aka continues to be in demand by the public as it needs. Similar to education, the health sector is also very much needed by the public and never dies even as the COVID-19 pandemic hits.

Amran said Bank OCBC NISP understands that businesses have ambitions to continue to expand to become stronger, operate efficiently, and become the top of mind in the eyes of consumers.

"For this reason, banks are trying to realize the ambitions of business owners with comprehensive solutions that not only focus on banking, but also provide more value for business stability with regional support," he said. In helping the business world expand, he mentioned Bank OCBC NISP has several solutions, namely financing and business capital, where banks also support green financing consisting of ESGF Hazardous and Toxic Waste and ESGF Water and Wastewater Treatment. Another solution is supply chain financing which includes supplier financing, distributor financing, and receivable purchases, capital collection through capital markets and equity, as well as ease of checking outstanding trade loans and filing bank guarantees in the Velocity application.
