Sandiaga Uno: All In One Circuit In Jembrana Bali Becomes A Center For Creative Economy Activities

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno said the All In One Circuit in Jembrana, Bali, is a center for tourism activities and the creative economy (parekraf) which includes arts and culture.

In addition, it can also be used for the benefit of the creative economy in Jembrana Regency such as Makepung, Jegog, kite competitions, traditions, and various other community activities.

"I really appreciate it because this is the result of the collaboration of the central and regional governments, where the special allocation fund for tourism infrastructure and the creative economy has now taken place in the All In One Makepung circuit," he said when inaugurating the Jembrana "All In One" Circuit through an official statement, in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Saturday, December 31.

The inauguration of the All In One Circuit is filled with Makepung Dance, Bakti fire dance, and Makepung ( Buffaloboard) attraction.

According to him, this circuit can be a support for the revival of the parekraf sector in Jembrana, especially in western Bali. The presence of this circuit cannot be separated from the commitment of the Regent of Jembrana I Nengah Tamba who has a big commitment to developing the creative economy.

"I have goosebumps to see the enthusiasm of the citizens, and we can see that so many people feel the benefits. I am sure this is a lot of MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) which will encourage economic revival and open up business opportunities, and this will be the locomotive of support for job creation up to 4.4 million in 2024," said the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy.

Overall, Jembrana Regency is said to have high tourism potential that will support tourism in West Bali.

In addition to the existence of the All In One Circuit, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy also had the opportunity to visit the Jembrana Weaving Center which is a storefront for various creative economy products and souvenir centers.

"In South Bali, Central Bali, and East Bali, the target (tourist visits) has been achieved, meaning that our task now is West Bali because West Bali is a gateway, especially from the East Java region. Therefore, we must increase foreign tourist visits and domestic tourists," he said.

On the same occasion, the Regent of Jembrana I Nengah Tamba said that this circuit can be used by all people for various activities. Starting from cultural arts activities such as Makepung, Layang-Layang Competition, Horse Racing, Malay Cultural Dance, Barongsai, as well as religious activities.

"What we built today, such as the Tenun Center, the All In One Circuit, became a tourism ecosystem in Jembrana, so that in the end Jembrana became a tourism area that was considered. I hope the support from the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy," he said.
