In Order To Capai Economic Growth 5.4 Percent In 2023, The Minister Of Industry Will Make This Breakthrough

Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita projects that the manufacturing industry sector will grow 5.4 percent in 2023. In line with this, the export value of the manufacturing industry is estimated to reach IDR 470 trillion next year.

"Meanwhile, employment is estimated to reach 19.2-20.2 million people in 2023," Agus said at the 2022 End of Year Press talks and the 2023 Industrial Outlook Seminar in Jakarta, Tuesday, December 27.

In an effort to achieve these targets, Agus said, his party plans to roll out several strategic programs, such as implementing machine restructuring programs and textile industry equipment as an effort to accelerate the performance improvement of the post-pandemic textile and textile product (TPT) industry.

"This effort is part of the implementation of the Making Indonesia 4.0 roadmap through providing more modern, efficient and energy-efficient, and more environmentally friendly investment incentives," said Agus.

Other programs, namely efforts to increase the ratio of the use of fresh milk from domestic breeders, to meet the needs of the milk processing industry raw materials, and reduce dependence on imported raw materials.

"This effort is realized through the development and strengthening of a mutually beneficial partnership program between the dairy processing industry and cooperatives or local dairy farmers," added Agus.

Next, the Ministry of Industry initiated the construction of a phytopharmaca production facility which was carried out at the Center for Standardization and Services for Pharmaceutical and Packaging Chemical Industries in Jakarta, consisting of a phytopharmaca production facility building, fitofarmaka production equipment, as well as supporting equipment and facility utilities.

This facilitation of phytofarmaka production is to realize the independence of standard traditional drugs and support import substitution programs.

The Ministry of Industry through the P3DN Center again provides free certification facilitation to domestic industrial companies for at least 2,000 product certificates next year.

In 2023, the Ministry of Industry will also accelerate the Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicle (KBLBB) program, including through the development of a comprehensive KBLBB industrial roadmap, acceleration of the development of key components, supporting components of the KBLBB industry, acceleration of charging station production and supporting components of the KBLBB industry, as well as strengthening process capabilities and precision measurements on tier-2 and tier-3 of the KBLBB industrial supply chain.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Industry continues to carry out the growth and development of technology-based startup IKM, namely entrepreneurship (entrepreneurship) which prioritizes product innovation and the use of technology in its business processes. A total of 40 startup IKMs are targeted to grow in 2023.

To accelerate and accommodate all digital transformation activities in Indonesia, the Ministry of Industry has built the Indonesian Digital Industry Center 4.0 (PIDI 4.0), which currently has 35 industrial companies.

Then, the Ministry of Industry will participate in the Hannover Messe 2021 industrial technology exhibition event: Digital Edition, on 17-21 April 2023 in Hannover, Germany.
