JAKARTA - Garuda Indonesia President Director Irfan Setiaputra said he was optimistic that passenger growth in the fourth quarter of 2022 would be higher than the previous quarter.

On this occasion, Irfan also mentioned the number of passengers served by Garuda Group at the peak of the Christmas holiday which reached 60,000 passengers.
The peak of the Christmas holiday falls on D-2 Christmas or December 23.

In detail, about 26,000 passengers served by Garuda Indonesia and around 33,000 passengers served by Citilink.
"Puncak peak season Garuda Indonesia Group 60.000 passengers as of December 23, 2022," he said.
Irfan explained that the moment of Christmas and New Year this time is quite different from the moment of the Lebaran 2022 holiday. This refers to the number of passengers served.

Irfan said, this December there was also a 30 percent increase when compared to the data as of last November 2022.

"The increase is compared to November (as large as) 30 percent who book, we still see additions per day. There are still a week away. Many have returned because of Christmas, many have returned because of New Year," he said.
