Attach Target, MSME Expo (rt) Expreneur Resulting Export Contract Of IDR 1.2 Trillion

JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI held the MSME Expo (rt) Expreneur 2022 which resulted in an export contract from a business meeting since December 8, 2022, worth 76.6 million US dollars or equivalent to Rp1.2 trillion.

BRI President Director Sunarso said this value had exceeded the export contract value target of the business meeting at the 2022 MSME Expo (rt) Expreneur valued at US $ 75 million.

"Since December 8, 2022, business matching has been implemented, until today the export contract value has reached 76.6 million US dollars or Rp1.2 trillion," Sunarso said at the Opening Ceremony of MSME Expo (rt) Expreneur, quoted by Antara, Thursday 15 December.

This value is also higher than the export contract that was produced by a similar performance last year, which was valued at US $ 65 million or around Rp. 1 trillion involving 500 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Meanwhile, in the previous year, the MSME bazaar at BRI UMKM Expo Expreneur resulted in direct transactions worth IDR 10.3 billion.

This year, the number of MSME participants participating in the expo has increased to 750 MSMEs and is expected to produce direct transactions of up to IDR 15 billion.

"This event contains the spirit to encourage MSMEs to be feasible and confident in competing in the international arena and their products can be sold in the international market," added Sunarso.

The curation process has been running since January 2022 and continues in a series of training and coaching clinics so that MSMEs can digitize business processes

"The buyer last year came from 14 countries. Now so far, buyers have made export contracts coming from 20 countries," said Soenarso.
