Dexa Group Affirms Commitment To Guarantee Security And Equity Of Pharmacy Products

JAKARTA - One of the national pharmaceutical industry, Dexa Group, emphasized its commitment to guarantee the safety and halalness of pharmaceutical products, as well as support the growth of the halal industry in the country.

"We have obtained Halal Guarantee System certification and Halal Certification in active raw materials (bio-active reflection) and finished products. We also support the potential of the world's halal market and in Indonesia which has a very high chance," said Head of Dexa Group Ferry Soetikno in his statement, quoted from Antara, Sunday, December 11.

This commitment, continued Ferry, made Dexa Group one of the recipients of the 2022 Indonesia Halal Industry Award (IHYA) given by the Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita.

Ferry said that the award is proof of the company's commitment to producing quality drugs according to their use.

Ferry said the company already has 1,300 halal-certified products, or 97 percent of the total products spread across more than 13,000 health facilities throughout Indonesia.

Ferry gave an example, the Halal certified Generik Berlogo (OGB) drug has been used in many hospitals throughout Indonesia such as the Muhammadiyah Hospital.

"The Muhammadiyah Hospital uses OGB Dexa products with halal logos because it has guaranteed halalness and patients throughout Indonesia are more peace of mind to use OGB Dexa with halal logos," said Ferry.

Not only its products, all company production facilities have also received halal certification.

It is known, Dexa Group won the IHYA Award in the Best Halal Innovation category for its success in increasing the Independence of Indonesian Original Modern Drug Baku Materials with a Domestic Component Level (TKDN) of more than 80 percent, such as Dissolf products.

The company is also considered successful in integrating the implementation of the Halal Security System with other quality systems, such as the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), ISO 9001: 2015 Certification and ISO 22000:2015, Quality Management System, and Good Manufacturing Practice (CPOB).

Until now, Dexa Group has exported to four continents, namely Africa, America, Asia, Europe since 1993.

"Thus, nationally made pharmaceutical products that have been certified halal are proven to be well received in the international market," said Ferry.
